Micromax Yureka, The Cyanogen OS Smartphone Is In Stores Now !

Micromax's newest smartphone running on the Cyanogen OS has hit the stores. The smartphone will be a part of Micromax's YU brand and is tagged at a price of Rs.8,999. Yureka, available in a moonstone finish, finishes its round of pre-orders on Amazon India on December 19th. 

This newest addition to the smartphone market runs on the Cyanogen OS is a customized aftermarket version of Google's Android OS which is based on the Android 4.4.4. This operating system is well-known for it offers increased customizing options to the users. 

The Yureka has a 13MP rear camera (f2.2 aperture, 75.4 degree angle, capable of 1080p video capture) which is coupled with a Sony EXMOR CMOS sensor and a 5MP front camera for picture-perfect selfies with a 71 degree field of view. The Yureka runs on a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone has 16 GB of internal storage and a 5.5 inch IPS display. The physical dimensions are - 154.8x78x8.8 mm.


The phone will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Moreover, the smartphone's warranty will still remain in place if the phone was rooted (good news to those who like to root their pocket companion)
