The Oculus Rift was a unique innovation in itself. Aiming at bringing virtual reality gaming to dedicated fans' homes, Oculus VR brought out the DK 1 (developer kit) in 2012. And this year's CES was a lot more same with Oculus VR bringing out the second version, the Oculus Rift Developer Kit 2.

The Developer Kit 2 will feature an OLED display which is said to "eliminate motion blur and judder, two of the biggest contributors to simulator sickness'. All this will further contribute to delivering smooth gameplay which every gamer desires.

The Oculus Rift DK2 won't have any slow, laggy movements, thanks to the integrated latency tester which will ensure that every inch of your actions gets displayed in-game on time to ensure it keeps up to the hype it's building.


"Engine Integration"

The Oculus Rift DK2 will have extensive support for video-game developing engines to ensure good and fast development opportunities for the virtual reality platform.

"Oculus SDK"

Developers will get the Oculus SDK ( Software Development Kit) which includes the source code along with documentation to set you on the right foot. The SDK will also contain samples to give you a hint on what's the Oculus DK2 capable of.
