Meet Google's New E-Mail Service, The INBOX !

Google announced a new e-mail service, named 'Inbox'. Gmail, which has become quite a necessary element in our lives, is to be 'Upgraded' with an all new thing which is "designed to focus on what really matters," as said by the company in a blog post.

"For many of us, dealing with email has become a daily chore that distracts from what we really need to do--rather than helping us get those things done," said Sundar Pinchai, the man who administers Android, Chrome and Google Apps, in a blog post.

Google also released a new video describing its newest e-mailing service which you can watch below.

We’re introducing something new. It’s called Inbox. Years in the making, Inbox is by the same people who brought you Gmail, but it’s not Gmail: it’s a completely different type of inbox, built to fit your life. Come try it with us.
What's New ?

All those e-mails that have been placed in the wrong category, e-mails which you would want to be in a separate folder, Well, Google's 'Inbox' might be the best thing for you. Inbox is made to ease all those hassles and adapt to your needs and provide you an awesome experience.

It will also highlight all your important e-mails and help you to access them quickly and easily. Inbox will highlight your important work messages, news regarding flight tickets, train reservations, event information and photos and documents. Sounds nifty.

Inbox will also feature reminders to help you in day-to-day life. If you think that you want to do something else and change your priorities immediately, Inbox has got the right thing for you. Featuring a 'Snooze' system, you can easily switch your priorities and  focus on something else without the reminder popping up again and again.

Currently, you can only access Inbox if you get an invite. Google has/will automatically send invites to targeted users or you can apply to get an invite here.

Gmail is attached to many people, this rules out the possibility of it going away anywhere soon and also, the official blog post had - "Gmail’s still there for you, but Inbox is something new. It’s a better way to get back to what matters, and we can’t wait to share it with you.", this only supports my claim to some extent, maybe not.
