Apple took the cover of iOS ( The latest version of their mobile operating system at the WWDC conference early last month. We present you with 8 important things iOS 8 is set to bring to your palm.

Every apple fanatic would go crazy when they would hear about a new mobile operating system update coming to their handset or not (if their gadget is not compatible with it).

The Apple conference had all the company executives to reveal new features and take the curtains of their new operating system. These new functions include actionable notifications, new updated messaging system and the keyboard (Yes, they gave some spotlight to the developers too). Apple's new operating system is likely to be released in August or September of this year as there has been no exact release date announce.  It will come to the iPhone 4s and all of the iPhone lineup afterwards, iPad users need not to worry as the software will also be available for iPad 2 and all the iPads launched thereafter including the iPad Mini and the iPod Touch 5th Generation.

The iCloud

it is similar to the existing cloud storage services like the Google Drive and Dropbox and can also be installed on Windows 8 PCs and of course, OS X machines. Installing it on your PCs will give you insta-access to all the files you have save on iCloud and enable you to work on them with the apps of your choice.

Upgraded and Interactive Notifications/Widgets.

The iOS is finally set to feature widgets. In Apple's newest operating system you will be able to perform actions on notifications instantly without having to close your existing work. The new software will add the ability to reply to facebook messages instantly from the notification itself and moreover, developers will also be able to add interactive notifications to their applications which will surely make your work easier.

The New, Improved Keyboard (Just How Apple Likes )  !

iOS 8 will feature suggestions and word predictions while you type to make your typing easier. These suggestions will be based on your previous usage history. Also, you can customize your device even more by downloading third-party keyboards.

Gaming (More Like Noob Slaying)

Video-game developers have been given significant focus to improve the quality of entertainment on Apple devices. iOS 8 features new development kits which can give you high-quality 'console' like games. There are three of this kits made for developers, namely ; Spritekit, Scenekit and Metal. All these kits have been designed to make games of a specific type. Spritekit for light 2D games, Scenekit for casual 3D games and Metal for your performance-thirsty high performance games.

 Health Is Wealth !

iOS 8 will feature a new Health app exclusively made by Apple for it's devices which can collate information collected on you by other applications and store them into a single place for you to refer in the future. 

New Features In Mail And Messages.

Apple has took the road of improving its email feature in the upcoming iOS 8 by including new features such as the introduction of swipe features and the ability to mark emails and flag them for later action. Apple has clearly taken points from famous third-party email applications and has looked forward to integrating some of these points. This app will also  have the liberty to access and automatically recognize  addresses, dates , flight reservation details and even phone numbers in your email for ease of access and will even enable you to add them to your calendar/phone book with a single touch. 

The messaging application has also been improved giving you the ability to send voice and video messages and include your location from the Messages app itself. iOS 8 will also allow you to create and edit groups from the messages Application.

Shortest Way To Contacts.

 Apple's operating system will now show photos of your recent and favourite contacts and will allow you to call or message contacts in the multi-tasking panel which can be accessed by pressing the home button twice.

Sharing Is Caring !

Apple has made iOS 8 in such a way that you will be able to access and share each other's stuff downloaded from iTunes and the App Store with six other people without needing to share your account details. This will also prove to be a good way to stop sibling quarrels and promote peace. Also, Parents will also be able to approve a purchase made by a child on another device and the entire 'Family' will be able to contribute to a single Family picture album. Family members will also be able to track each other's misplaced devices thanks to iOS 8's 'Find My iPhone/iPad' feature.
